If Western culture and society is willing to let a certain kid be bullied or taken the piss out of,
we should expect the consequences. There will always be popular people, and those who believe and only believe that they are of a higher status due to popularity. This will inevitably lead us to certain
kids who can not take the strain and feel there's no way out, some will go quietly suicide, some will take revenge. After the killings I watched a few daytime chatshows and they contained people who were
being bullied, the bullies were brought out and so were their parents. These parents actually sat there and justified their kids actions, because there will always be a loser or a bullied soul. Why?
Because they are smart, because they like Marylin Manson? What is the deal with that? I created a yearbook a couple of years ago and one teacher was especially strict about the content. This was a
yearbook committee which consisted of "geeks" and when one "popular" girl came to the top of the "Most Fanciable Male" category. We all rejoiced because she was a tomboy and
made us look stupid at times even though she was, (don't get me started I am only just getting over my scars). Anyways we were unallowed to publish this result and whilst feeling very hard done by at the
time I understand it now, this girl could have been pretty damaged by this. I myself have been bullied and at the time felt that nothing else could be done expect to run away until one day, I found a
teacher that was in some way related to my family at school and he was more than happy to nail this kid to the floor with any ammunition I had. My point about the yearbook was that Eric Harris and Dylan
Klebold were actually named FREAKS. So with this in mind it can be seen that even the teachers support this idea of society that there has to be a bullied kid. I am not saying that everyone has to like
each other, BUT if you don't like someone leave them alone and they will do the same to you. The person who bullied me was a boy, who is now an unemployed homosexual, (to bully a girl you would have to
be wouldn't you?) so my revenge was not as sweet and throwing him off a cliff and kicking him in the head to make sure he was dead (OK I still have some issues). So to an extent we have to blame the
society we actually live in for their crimes, that were pushed to the edge by Jocks etc and some kids handle it in different ways, and when society supports it what do you do, who do you turn to? Lets
try and change this and hope that people who pushed them over the edge hope that they know about the masses of blood on their hands.
